Coalition of service providers oppose cuts, restrictions on legal services
We are direct service providers who work with children, families, and adults who are homeless, who are hungry, who are poor, who are immigrants, and who struggle with disabilities or serious illness. We are also allied organizations, businesses, and communities of faith throughout the state of Minnesota.
We strongly oppose the legislature’s proposals to cut funding to and restrict the activities undertaken by legal services. We urge you to veto the Omnibus Public Safety bill and to push for a budget solution that does not compromise access to justice for those with the least power in our state.
